Completing his apprenticeship for a local Hull gas company over 20 years ago, James Clark has gone from apprentice to engineer to sole trader. What is now a decade in the past, James took the plunge into business ownership. From that moment, Elite Services Group was born with co-founder, and brother, Ben Clark.
The foundations of James’ early career may have started in the gas industry, however, his personal interests soon took over his thinking and directed him down a path in the renewable sector - in particular heat pumps. Over the last few years, James’ thirst to improve has been shared with the industry-leading Heat Geek team. James is now a proud and certified Heat Geek Elite member, one of only a handful in the North of England.
With decades of experience, James has built up a respected skillset and enviable reputation across the industry, with an ability to solve problems before they become one. Diagnosing breakdowns is a core strength and one area James is able to showcase his array of talents and wealth of experience from within the renewable energy industry.
A Highly Qualified Engineer and Renewable Energy Expert
James operates a dual day-to-day role at Elite Services Group, balancing duties as the current Managing Director and an active air source heat pump engineer.
His drive over the past few years to assemble a truly Elite team has helped the business go from strength to strength.
“In my spare time, I love to surf, not the most glamorous surfing in the North Sea but I wouldn’t change my local spot for anywhere else!
I also enjoy walking in the lakes and watching my football team, Liverpool.”
Who Is James Clark?

James hopes to be able to offer a green energy solution and end the current carbon-emitting problem of traditional fuel methods used by both domestic and commercial properties.
